Recent MPhil graduate looking to begin my career as a copywriter/editor.
I have excellent editing, proofreading, and writing skills and am seeking a full-time role where I can put these talents to good use. My administration skills include a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office packages including Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. I am skilled at devising catchy punchlines, attractive product descriptions, sub-editing online copy, and creating new ideas for content.
Having just finished a postgraduate MPhil. degree in history, I have excellent research skills and a working knowledge of database creation and analysis. In my current job I proofread and edit articles for international clients; this requires me to work to very strict deadlines and to be extremely focused on details.
Personally I am friendly, very calm in stressful situations and can think on my feet. I am happy to travel and can easily relate to people at all levels.
