About me

My background is in the Creative Arts; I love anything that is creative from writing, drawing, and creating graphics to theatre and dance, and everything in between. My focus now is in Writing/Editing and Graphics. I have written and edited articles for newsletters and flashes at Astoria Federal Savings. I have been looking to expand my experience in both in either publishing or in journalism. I have many talents and I learn new tasks and programs easily. I am well versed in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint, but also the Adobe Suite of Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. I have also worked with Quark, Dreamweaver and Flash. I have experience in Public Relations and Marketing, but I went to University for a BA in both Creative Writing and Graphic design. Now, I have finished my MFA in Creative Writing with Publishing at Kingston University London.

I have great skills in proofreading, editing, writing and dealing with deadlines and interpersonal relations.
