About me
A Fellow of the Chartered Society of Designers, David has previously worked across a broad spectrum of disciplines ranging from design, manufacturing, project direction, and production, to heading on site design management, and technical teams with the programming, construction and commissioning functions.
Previous experience includes periods as Head of Global Events and Exhibitions for British Gas, Events Director for P&O at Earls Court, and extensive international project delivery in countries as diverse as America, Kazakhstan, and Congo B, with an in depth knowledge of working in the Middle East, particularly the United Arab Emirates.
Notable achievements have included the project management and delivery of the zones "The Body" and "Play" at the Milennium Dome, project direction of multimillion dollar events programmes for Motorola, Hewlett Packard and Volvo, and more recently the architectural design management of the award winning Manarat Al Saadiyat visitor centre and The Wave, in Muscat. Recently he has worked as the Construction and Production Director for the Shindaga Wave 1 museum projects in Dubai, deputy project Director for major museum projects in Oman and Qatar, Project Director on the UAE pavilion at Expo 2020, and is now Project Director on the Zayed National Museum, Abu Dhabi.
