About me

I'm Dan and am currently working as a design assistant at A&E Leisure, a company specialising in outdoor furniture and leisure solutions and play equipment.

My current role involves a lot of liaising with sales and support staff, suppliers, installers and manufacturers. I am required to produce new designs and adjust existing designs, working from concept to finished product. The role also involves 2D CAD layouts, 3D CAD components and assemblies, 2D Manufacturing Drawings, 3D visuals, costing documents, B.O.Ms and the programming of the CNC machine.

I studied at Brunel University achieving a 2:1 and undertaking a year in an industrial placement. Whilst on the course I have developed skills in sketching and ideation, model making, creative suite, CAD and leadership through working across a range of projects.
