About me

I am a dependable, versatile individual who can adapt to work at a professional level, individually or in a team. I am hardworking, creative and practical because of my enthusiasm and great passion for graphic design. From working to tight deadlines in my years of education & design industry experience I have developed a wide range of transferable skills including being consistently organised, reliable and responsible. I strive to be creative within my work at all times. I have a wide range of work experience where I have learned to be customer focused, friendly and polite yet assertive when required.

Specialties: Adobe suite from CS3 upwards to CC: Illustrator / Photoshop / InDesign.

I am strong in areas of: Packaging layouts for FMCG, Typography, Layout Design for Brochures / Magazines / POS, Photo Editing & Branding Design. Also in traditional Graphics such as: Hand Drawn Illustration & Digital, Technical Drawing & Sketching, Photography and Art Installation.

I have experienced knowledge and skills within FMCG packaging design for food & homeware goods. Designing for NPD projects and for existing ranges, in-line with branded guidelines for a number of big name clients on large product rollouts. Photo editing and artworking are also another skill set I have experience within my current position and have experienced knowledge of building mock ups for packaging on shelf. Photography direction for new creative projects & brand extentions. The more recent experience I have is learning new skills in 2D animation within photoshop.

I also have hade freelance experience, working mainly on logo / branding projects for new up and coming businesses and also clients who require a rebrand. Other projects I continually work on in my free time include event POS and advertisements for Huddersfield WI group (woman's institute).

Amongst this I also dedicate my free time to my small Etsy business, selling handmade illustrated greeting cards, made into prints, wall decor using illustration & textiles. Naturally POS and packaging solutions comes into the development of my business and creating my own photography for professional product shots. I keep upto date with my online presence for my business, designing digital social media advertisements to keep potential customers engaged.
