About me

After a long passion for filmmaking since the age of 11, Charbel graduated in 2002 with distinction from the Masters in filmmaking program at the HSUK-USEK university in Beirut and began his work directing, filming, and editing all sorts of narrative films, music videos, and TV shows. A dream came true.

He spent the first six years sharpening his technical and conceptual skills to help fellow filmmakers in the thriving film community in Beirut.

In 2008, Charbel added Color Grading to his toolset, shifted focus to Dubai, and took Montage TV Productions as home. Through Montage TV, he worked mainly on commercials for renowned ad agencies and brands like ImpactBBDO, Leo Burnett, JWT, TBWA\RAAD, Audi, Nissan, Hyundai, P&G, Unilever, Samsung, LG, and many more.

The sum of these 20 years of experience awarded him a Best Picture and Art Direction award in the DQFF film festival in 2004, a 3rd Media Category Bronze in Cannes Lions in 2017, and a Grand Prix in Dubai Lynx in 2017.

Charbel is a passionate, multi-talented filmmaker with extensive technical and conceptual knowledge in many disciplines in the film and media industries.
