About me

I have a love and passion for films, video games, and online media content and hold a desire to make content that is dynamic, stimulating and enticing for an audience.

I have loved video editing from an early age and it quickly became my sole passion, a passion that saw me completing my Masters degree in Post-Production Editing in 2012, and carve out a sustainable career in the field.

I am currently employed with the British Army as a video editor, where I create content for their social media channels, and also I am in charge of looking over other creators' work to ensure it is to the standard expected for the various sites.

In June 2019, I recently became certified as an Adobe Certified Associate in Visual Effects & Motion Graphics using Adobe After Effects CC 2018 which really aids me in my creation of the production of content.

I have also recently joined the freelance team at whatculture, creating video content for their website and YouTube channels. Speaking of YouTube, I have run a channel since 2014 based on my hobbies, the content of which has all been created by myself, both in front of and behind the camera.

I am currently employed in a role that keeps me abreast of the latest changes in the industry. My daily job is not only creating video content for it's Social Media channels but also installing and training on a server-based workflow program, and working on the technical side of live-streaming to various platforms.

I am a proficient worker with a keen eye for detail and a great knowledge of producing various genres of broadcast material. I also pride myself on understanding the work ethic of the industry.

Key Skills:

- Advanced working knowledge of software applications, including but not limited to Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Avid Media Composer

- Good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Audition, Maxon Cinema 4D

- Good working knowledge of technical formats and standards used to display film and animation content on-screen

Even though I am currently based in Swindon, I am more than willing to move around the country and even globally, depending on the job and salary.
