About me

I am a professional Motion Graphic Designer with a decade of knowledge and experience in a varied range of international projects comprising print and digital designs, as well as video and animated creations.

My professional experience comprises in-house and agency work, created for established B2B and B2C companies including work for FMCG brands. Some of the companies I have worked for include Scalable Capital, LeYa, Padel Escapes and JCDecaux clients including Coty, MasterCard, American Express, Royal Salute, Bulleit Bourbon, Carlsberg and Channel to name a few.

As part of the work produced at JCDecaux, I have also been involved with internal design projects to support sustainability initiatives, and more recently design work to support internal communications relating to changes brought on by COVID-19.

The format of the projects I have worked on is well rounded but not limited to posters, magazine feature articles, adverts, business cards, display banners and signs, info-graphics, videos and animations, presentations, campaigns, products launches, website and social media designs.

I am a fluent and confident user of Adobe CS suite and other design tools. Some of the tools that I predominantly work with include After Effects, Premiere, Animate for video projects, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign for graphic design projects. These tools are also complemented by my coding ability with the use of HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript languages. I am also a skilled hand drawer at intermediate level, which is always a value-add offering the flexibility to explore more traditional and unique illustrations.

Having worked in different environments, I can comfortably say that I work well both individually and within a team, be it with a steady or fast paced workflow. I take great pride in establishing good professional relationships, and strive to grow with my colleagues through effective collaboration. In a contrasting scenario, I am self-motivated and have the ability to work well alone with successful end results as a driving force.

More importantly, I am a firm believer that the best projects come from a source of transparency, open mindedness and clear communication. I don't shy away from contributing with my creative input and personal ideas if needed, but I also appreciate the need to stay true to a company's identity, and as such I always do my best to ensure that the work that I produce fully reflects a company's values and corporate identity whilst preserving its integrity.

The opportunity to apply for this position is one that I am very excited about as I am looking to settle in an role, where I am able to see work through from the beginning to its final stage as well as the diversity through the different type of projects and clients it offers.

Kind Regards,

João Bispo
