Dear Sir/Madam

I'd like to apply for the Junior Designer position at Purple, currently advertised on Creative pool. Please find attached my CV and PDF Portfolio for your consideration.

As you can see from my CV, I have recently graduated form the University of the Arts London, where I attained a 2:1 in the field of Design for Graphic Communication. Alongside my studies I have also worked part time in the retail fashion sector whilst freelancing as a Graphic Designer when given the opportunity.

As a designer my aim is to create pieces of design that demonstrate, creativity, passion and significance. I like to experiment, question and play with ideas and prototypes to get the best outcome possible. Typography, layout, structure and color are very important to me and are areas I'm constantly looking at or trying to improve on. I pride myself in having a strong eye for detail and executing my work to a high standard.

Having worked independently, at university and within retail, I've become very comfortable working within a team, being able to motivate and support others.

I have the enthusiasm and drive to seek out new challenges and opportunities to move forward and better myself. I believe good time keeping and organisation are essential attributes to have especially when meeting deadlines and trying to prioritise work.

I am confident that I will be a valuable addition to your design team, ensuring creativity and dedication and working towards making a worthy impact on the design world.
