About me
I've worked as a freelance illustrator for many years, contributing concept scamps, storyboards and finished artwork to various magazines, newspapers, books, websites and advertising agencies.
I've also worked as an art director for several top 10 agencies in London so I have a good understanding of the process within agencies, including the demands of clients.
In terms of illustration, my career highlights would be:
Working for Marvel Comics at the at the age of 17 and contributing numerous pages of art.
Writing and illustrating the 'Learn to Speak Cat' cartoon which ran for three years in the Metro newspaper (circulation 3.6 million) and now runs on GoComics. (Online platform for Universal Uclick, the largest syndication company in the world.)
Creating the 'Dailylea Cows' advertising campaign for JWT. (From concept stage, through strips storyboards and attending shoots as AD.)
Recently contributing a double page spread of illustration for Marty Neumeier's new book 'Brand Flip'.
