About us

19 Sound is a contemporary audio post production facility based on Charlotte street in Soho, London. Founded by Will Ward & Jack Wyllie, two friends with a lifelong passion for sound & music creation.
The company specialises in creative sound design and bespoke composition for all forms of media, across all platforms. Since forming the company, the team have worked on a number of award winning campaigns, documentaries & films. Their ability to work & manage projects, utilising a combination of attended in-person studio sessions, and remote-virtual studio sessions, means they are agile at creating and delivering work, to any timescale. This hybrid-way of working means they can also accommodate projects where budgets are limited, without compromising on creativity.

An Introduction To The Team:
Will Ward is an award winning sound designer, composer and mix engineer with over 15 years experience, working in audio post production. His years spent training at Lipsync Post and Tamborine Productions gave him a solid grounding in audio post production and an informed understanding of industry processes. This enables a quick and reliable turnaround across all projects. His enthusiasm and passion for sound translates into everything he does. He has released music under his own name as well as Circle Traps and Xoros, releasing records on a number of labels and performing internationally. Resident Advisor recently described his music as “...a vivid mix of brutality and beauty...”

Jack Wyllie is a multi-instrumentalist with expertise spanning classical, jazz and ambient. Working with directors, brands, record labels and agencies he has scored a number of short films, adverts and documentaries. He is a well established and highly respected musician, having toured globally and collaborated with many critically acclaimed artists. He has produced seven studio albums with his band Portico Quartet, receiving a Mercury music nomination along the way. Jack also records with Szun Waves, Xoros and his most recent project, Paradise Cinema. The Guardian critic John Walters referred to Jacks music as “a soundworld that is original and inviting, played with
flair and commitment...”

Oscar Kugblenu has over 25 years industry experience, his knowledge has been described by colleagues and peers as “encyclopaedic”. With technical, creative, production, and business experience, learned and gained from working at London’s leading Audio Post Houses (including Wave London & Amsterdam, and GCRS), there
is not a project too big or small that Oscar can’t manage. Oscar’s extensive contacts across production companies, music companies and voice over agencies, means there is not any creative or practical problem that he can’t find a solution for. In fact he says “If I can’t solve the problem, I will know someone who can”. His experience as an Audio Post Producer, managing the audio-post for hundreds of campaigns both UK & International, for brands as varied as Vodafone, Jaguar, Nike, Range Rover, Nivea, Sky Sports, Swiss-Com, Sky-Atlantic, Warburtons, Aveda etc, means your project, no matter how big or small, will be delivered on time and to budget.
