ABOUT
Video calls are simply how we work and connect with people now. But we don’t always see ourselves as others do.
A new commercial for Bell pure fibre Internet, called “The Glitchy Place”, shows what suffering through Internet lag could look and feel like in the real world through a woman’s day-to-day activities. Everyone from coworkers to friends and even strangers are left staring at the main character as she constantly gets stuck in a pixelated state. In the end, the voiceover asks, “You wouldn’t accept lag in real life, so why accept it online?”
