Hello,
I am Zoheb Asif, a Design, Type, Digital, Social, Branding, Color, Illustration, Communication and Motorcycle enthusiast. The alchemy of desire has always fascinated me.
I'm intrigued by how sometimes, seemingly mundane elements - words, images, forms, etc. come together to form ideas/ brands/ products. The appeal of which, transcends the ordinary and into the territory of desire. It's almost as if these 'objects of desire' are able to access a primal part of our brain and trigger a yearning that can only be felt and not be described.
I believe that brands that understand this alchemy of desire; that are able to 'manufacture desire' as opposed to just 'demand', are the ones who quite literally, possess their consumers. These are brands that are 'loved' by people like they would 'love' their loved ones. And, these are the kind of brands I want to build for my clients.
Professionally, I am a Creative Director with 8+ years of experience working in the Advertising & Branding sector, I was leading a team of senior Illustrators, Graphic Designers, Copywriters and Photographers working towards solving branding, communication and marketing challenges our 40+ clients from various industries faced. I loved being a part of the branding process right from the naming to delivering the brand manual, conceptualising their communication strategy to finally executing advertising campaigns across multiple mediums.
I am currently in Dubai in search for opportunities in the Advertising sector and made the move to learn and work in a global environment. I can assure you a few things, my best at work every day, fully understanding the client's expectations and working day and/or night to meet timelines, churning out quality work, being a team player and making good instant noodles.
