An ongoing original comic project exploring the development of a fictional world from its earliest visual ideas through to finished sequential artwork.

This project documents the process behind creating a comic, rather than presenting only the finished pages. It includes character development, visual experimentation, storyboarding, stylisation, worldbuilding and the creation of the opening pages.

The project explores how characters, environments, colour, composition and visual language can work together to establish a consistent world and communicate narrative through sequential art.

As the comic develops, this project will continue to document the transition from initial concepts and experimentation to completed comic pages, providing an ongoing record of the creative and visual development of the series.
