A new editorial illustration for Quanta Magazine's latest Neuroscience column, ‘A New Framework for How the Brain Compresses Our Noisy World’.

I created animated artwork and spot illustrations to accompany an article by writer Conor Feehly, which explores an updated view of categorisation - reflecting the modern understanding that the nervous system is more of a prediction engine than a filing cabinet.
