About Zara
I am an Industrial Design graduate from Loughborough University with a First Class Honours degree. I enjoy designing consumer products that solve everyday problems through thoughtful, aesthetically driven design. My approach is hands-on and research-led, with a focus on sketching, prototyping and iteratively developing ideas.
During my placement at Willson & Brown, I worked on over 50 client projects, including a successful L'Oréal tender and a Soap & Glory project where I pitched my concept directly to the client. These experiences strengthened my skills in product development, CAD and visualisation while working within commercial design teams. My final-year project explored how interactive play can encourage physical activity, resulting in a product designed to tackle childhood inactivity.
I am currently seeking an Industrial Designer or Furniture Designer role , ideally in London, where I can contribute to meaningful products and continue growing as a designer.
