ABOUT

The project was created for a magazine cover, it refers to a typical Colombian mochila handmade by indigenous tribe from Santa Marta (North-West Colombia). The mochila represents the cosmology of a tribe called Arhuacos.
With this project the purpose was to reflect about the handmade production vs. the industrial production, always have been relevant the discussion about production because the industrial price will be cheaper, while the handmade will be more expensive. Nevertheless the originality of this mochila and it commercialisation are the economic sustent for Arhuaco tribe.
