On the island once home to the Dodo, a young biologist named Carl Jones found himself in a race against time to stop history repeating itself. Volvo & Sky Atlantic present the true story of a working class boy from Wales who went from nursing injured birds in his back yard to saving the rarest bird in the world and 8 other species from the brink of extinction.
