About me

I am a creative and self-motivated filmmaker, designer and researcher based in Bristol. My Chinese background makes me particularly sensitive to the cultural exchange in the media industry, and the ways by which these exchanges are unceasingly enhanced by globalization. I am very interested in the international projects, especially British-Chinese co-production.

In the past few years, I have been involved in many short film and theatre productions by taking a variety of roles, including director, producer, researcher, production designer, camera operator, colourist, animator, set and lighting designer. I found myself very interested but not exclusively in directing, researching and design.

I am taking a practice-based MPhil degree in Film/Cinema at the University of Bristol, in which I am researching into immersive cinema event, exploring how the performative quality of the screening space shapes the embodied audience experience.
