GLASS Magazine IllustrationI did some illustrations for GLASS magazine's International Women's Day feature. The theme of the article is about how Chinese women help each other.
Some businesswomen and community promoters have volunteered to help minority women around them to make their handicrafts more visible.
A Chinese female artist has created a work about knitting in which she pretends to be a businesswoman and gets her mother and her mother's friends to supply her company with knitted products made of wool. She later used these products to make many of her own works.
Single women can be annoyed by home improvement problems such as fixing electrical circuits and so on, and these trades are predominantly practiced by men. A women's community has taken the initiative to acquire these home improvement skills and specialise in helping women to solve these problems.
