Blind boxes[1] have taken China by storm as more and more people become addicted. Smilarities between consumerism and religion can be found through an investigation of the blind box concept. Since it is difficult for addicts to accept other people’s admonitions and persuasion, I create Popmart Religion in order to awake the rational consumption consciousness of this group. They worship blind boxes, just like they believe in gods. By means of absurdity, I convey a thought-provoking phenomenon directly.
