ABOUT

Not Latte bills itself as "the first fruit latte concept in San Francisco," and their colorful drinks are some of the most unique we've seen lately. In spite of the dissonance between the flavors of fresh fruits, they actually work well together.

Not Latte drinks typically contain ice, milk, and their Gusto Crema Artisanal Italian blend for espresso. With fresh avocado, banana, mango, pineapple, dragon fruit, and durian, they're elevated to "Fruit*te" status.

In this rebranding project, I designed a new typeface for Not Latte that was used in the design of the brand identity to capture the fruity, coffee-like features of Not Latte. As the main body of the font, curves represent fluidity, which corresponds to coffee's blending characteristics.
