Frozen Mermaid
A mermaid is type of beautiful, mysterious person from legends, and every region has its own mermaid legend.
Once when I was traveling and watched a Cirque de Soleil show.
It was a very realistic water dance show. The performers' graceful postures and exquisite, soft movements occurred as if they were in a magnificent ice palace.
In the water they displayed graceful posture and a sense of strength and beauty.
I am using the Cirque de Soleil show as my core concept, having studied related literature and film in order to obtain a deeper understanding of the patterns and characteristics of mermaids and ice crystals. After extracting from these sources the characteristics most able to express these two things, I will combine mystical mermaids with romantic ice crystals as the theme for wedding dresses.
I will use an integration of different techniques and fabrics to express this series of wedding dresses,
and to convey how deeply moved I was by this show.
