ABOUT

This is a personal project that I loved working on. I love type and I wanted to create something which was just for my own aesthetic. I initially wanted to create a stationery set out of it. Weaving parts of my background and my own narrative into it. Being Chinese in ethnicity, eating my meals and drinking soup out of the trademark blue and white Chinese porcelain, growing up in the South Pacific, in the depths of Papua New Guinea since birth and then transferring to Australia from the age of 12. It represented the delicate balance of my roots, exotic tropical climates and slightly romanticised western lettering, pink Sydney sunsets... this represented my past, present and future.
