About me

Whilst studying for my degree I gained an extended knowledge of how to write news and features writing. I learnt the difference between good journalism and bad, also explored the difference between working in a newspaper and in a magazine.

I studied media law during my second year and I can write shorthand at 100 wpm. I can produce clear and accurate content to tight deadlines and I am proficient in a number of digital programs, including InDesign and CMS. Throughout my third-year assignments, I learnt how to use social media in a work context to boost traffic and how to interpret analytics.

I also studied modules covering fashion journalism, journalism history, non-fiction journalism and the ethics behind journalism.
