Onda Festival

The Council of Santiago de Compostela (Spain) and the Galician writer Pepe Sendón approached us to create the identity of their festival ONDA (Observatorio da Nova Diáspora), which showcases films, art exhibitions and literature created by Galician emigrants.

We made the logotype as a mix between the iconic stripe of the Galician flag and the shape of waves (onda means “wave” in Galician). We then separated these letters and used them as “abstract paintings” in a number of different on-brand colours to create an easily recognisable and fresh brand in the streets of Santiago.
