Recently I draw an interior illustration for the feature on Su Dongpo in this year's November issue of 少年Youth, titled “Why Does Everyone Love Su Dongpo? , written by Ms. Chen Sai.
Starting from the Three Su Ancestral Shrine and the hand-planted ginkgo tree in Meishan, Su Dongpo and his younger brother - who played the high school bachelor's degree in Kaifeng Bianjing, the successive deaths of his mother and father, served as a judge in Hangzhou, and then imprisoned in the Wutai Poetry Cases, and then was relegated to Chibi (Chibi Fugu / Dongpo Meat), re-launched to promote the official to the Hanlin scholar to be the main protagonist of the West Garden of Grace, was not allowed by the old and the new party was relegated to Huizhou (Lychee 300), and then relegated to Danzhou (Hainan Island), far away from the old and the new. He was relegated to Danzhou (a small island in Hainan).
I'm so happy that my editorial illustration of "Why Everyone Loves Su Dongpo" for Sanlian Junior New Knowledge has won the Shortlist Award in the Editorial (Published) specialty track of the 2025 BIBF Beijing International Book Fair International Illustration Competition!I was happy to bring my little drawings to be exhibited at the China National Convention Center in Beijing!
I was also honored to be invited to the 2025 BIBF International Illustration Forum at the Beijing International Convention Center, the theme of which was "Multiple Symbiosis", a dialogue on the future language of images, as well as the BIBF Illustration Night and Award Ceremony last night at the China National Bookstore.
When I was creating the illustration, I showed the above key points in Su Shi's life, where he went in his life, what he wrote and what he ate, and how he wrote and drew his own life on a virtual rice paper scroll with a big Su Shi brush.Thanks to the professional and gentle AD@Tian Ke Teacher/-᷅-᷄\୭????
