The initial brief for this assignment was to improve an on-campus student experience and by using the double diamond design process to explore the variety of ways to improve this experience through a website / app interface. Our group chose the Brunel design store where students and staff can access a range of products and services.
Our statement was "How might we improve the efficiency and availability of staff and students time."
We carried out user experience flow charts and understanding the pain points, behaviour, gains and needs of users to identify the content required for the website and the opportunities that we needed to address. After several iterations of wireframes a final prototype was created on InVision. This was presented to the Manager at Brunel Stores and we were given exceptional feedback and that our concept will be implemented in the near future.
