The brief was to create a series of watercolor illustrations of iconic 20th-century design pieces for a private client passionate about furniture and interiors. Each piece was carefully studied and reinterpreted with a minimalist yet expressive approach, highlighting form, proportion, and materiality through color and brushwork.
My process combined precise sketching with a fluid watercolor technique, aiming to capture both the structural elegance and the personality of each chair. The resulting artworks celebrate design classics while offering a contemporary artistic perspective, blending fine art and design appreciation.
