This colourful series is inspired by how bees perceive flowers differently to humans. These winged insects see UV patterns and structures on petals that are invisible to the human eye.
The floral artworks can be brought to life via augmented reality. With this technique you can watch these flowers grow and reveal new patterns through your smartphone or tablet.
All 3 flowers have an unique and dynamic AR animation of 10 seconds.
The Hyper Flora Series was first shown earlier this year in a group art exhibition at a Carmelite monastery near Brussels. Part of the proceeds of the sales went to the restoration of the basilica that dates back to 1665.
