Outside Earth V1 - WIP - Series
Here is the first edited version of some of the first test scenes of my Sci-fi series 'Outside Earth'.
This wormhole generator is the entrance way to other star system placed generator receivers.
We see the 'Ark' making it's way into the unknown as their journey begins.
Stay tuned for where the Ark ends up!

This entire series will be created in an "off-the-cuff" manner where there is no script, storyboard, or even an idea on where it will go until I sit down and do it. I do have a basic idea in my head somewhere as to what I'd like to see, but the fact that I keep it fluid allows me to change it up where I see fit. It's basically just my 3d Sci-fi art led randomness that will generate the final production. Maybe it will work, maybe not. It's just for fun anyway. Plus, I'm teaching myself how to use the tools better that I enjoy working with.

Basic idea in my head for Outside Earth.
The Ark is one of many unmanned drone ships sent to collect life forms from all over the Universe, using robots and other such drones to visit oxygen rich, Earth-like planets and to collect carbon-based life forms to be set free on Earth.
Earth is no longer populated by Man due to disease and wars, but the computers and AI structures still on Earth are fully sustainable and functioning and have been assigned with the task to repopulate it if humans should meet their demise.
There are worm-hole devices all over the Universe that have been created by Humans many years before their final extinction and they are all self-sustaining and operational. They are the key entries to other worlds similar to Earth.

I am creating it using Maxon's C4d, Zbrush, After Effects and my new fav plug-ins from Video Copilot which are Element 3d, Optical Flares and some of their Motion Design 2 Models as well. I'm doing it all in After Effects instead of porting it to Premier, or FCP. I like the ease of use of After Effects and I get the look I want. Which in the end is all that matters.
