A yearly Dance and music event organised by my @hashtagunity companions needed to be promoted and this would be the most ambitious event so far.I was selected to be part of a design team with musician/designer, Hector Plimmer and  graphic designer, Loi tha Boi.We designed promotional imagery for social media and print including posters, tee shirts (printed by Done London) and Instagram posts.
This was my first opportunity to really test my isometric character illustrations. The DJ’s and dancers were to be a very diverse group of people and I needed to represent dancers and music from many scenes. I drew 12 dancing characters showing styles such as Vogueing, Breakin’, poppin’, and Locking.The video below by Anthony Shintai shows the event in action.
