About me

I am Senior Graphic Designer, co-founder and Executive Creative Director of a successful graphic design studio. I have specialist strategic marketing, advertising and design solution skills and I am experienced in technical and creative design - from managing the design / graphic / prepress development, to managing staff, operations and sub-contractors, co-ordinating projects and ensuring quality and implementation of project requirements, whilst adhering to client expectations.

I have worked in the United Kingdom and Southern Africa, for many years, gaining refined skills in creative design, to owning and growing a successful, busy creative studio, through effective customer and stakeholder liaison at all levels of a project, building close, trusting relationships and ensuring customer retention and ongoing business.

Our creative studio - Naked Naartjie - was started to answer the demand for high quality service & creativity that so many small to medium businesses need. Our "Out-of-the-Peel" creativity & Service are what we have built up our client base on.

My strengths are in Communication and Client Relations - with the ability to convey both written and oral communication in a professional and customer focussed way, sharing and articulating information, ideas and expectations clearly, and also in Leadership and Business Management skills - leading successful graphic design and creative teams, in delivering high-quality work, which we pride ourselves on, and which ensures repeat business and client retention.

Technically, I am fully competent in Adobe Creative Suite, CorelDraw, Microsoft Office, Freehand, Prinect Metadimension & Signa Station, Enfocus PitStop, Mac & PC platforms, QuarkXpress, Wordpress, Joomla, Social Media, etc.
