ABOUT
King's Day is a national holiday in the The Netherlands. Celebrated on 27 April (26 April if the 27th is a Sunday), the date marks the birth of King Willem-Alexander. The whole of the Netherlands turns orange and our capital Amsterdam receives around 800.000 visitors extra. Most of them have no clue where to go. A nice gesture of the Dutch Railways (NS) to guide the visitors by placing human signposts near railway stations and touristic places in Amsterdam.
