Esteemed post-production house Uppercut welcomes editor Eric Argiro to its roster of talent. With an auspicious, aesthetic eye and sharp sense of visual storytelling, Eric won a Bronze Cannes Lion for his editing work with The North Face’s “Question Madness” campaign in honor of the brand’s 50th anniversary. His lauded artistry has earned him a Telly Award in the Graphic Design category and a One Club Creative Award for Craft in Video. Eric brings his decades of knowledge and multi-disciplinary commitment to learning from every new job to Uppercut, where his talents will continue to flourish.

Eric’s edits are categorized with athletic beauty, artistic precision, and narrative grace. Whether the story is a close-following documentary or a beauty and fashion commercial campaign, Eric’s work is uniformly energetic and exciting while dialing in on the emotive truth of the subject at hand. He has cut commercials for globally recognized brands like Covergirl, Ulta Beauty, Amazon, New Balance, Fiat, Honda, Facebook, Jose Cuervo, Sam Adams, CitiBank, Bank of America, Walmart, and GE, among many others.

Eric’s editorial prowess can also be seen in projects and music videos for artists such as Tom Petty, Phish, Pussy Riot, Leon Bridges, and ZAYN. In addition to his short-form work, he worked as the co-editor of the Netflix docu-series Emergency: NYC, which was shot across five hospitals in New York City, and served as the polishing editor for the documentary feature Sue Bird: In The Clutch, which closely followed the final year in the WNBA legend’s career.

Eric Argiro says of joining Uppercut, “With each person I’ve gotten to know, I get a sense of an honest, down-to-earth approach that permeates the company, and I’ve really connected with that. This feels like the next natural step in my career, and I feel like I’m in great company with all the other post-production artists at Uppercut.”

Micah Scarpelli, editor and founder of Uppercut, adds, “I’ve known Eric for more than fifteen years, personally and professionally. I’ve been following his career closely, and I’m thankful that the time is finally right to welcome him on board with Uppercut.”
