Given a brief by Spectral lighting to produce an innovative light for either the desk, wall or ceiling. I began developing a light for each category before narrowing it down to the most unique light. The light features a rip in the wall that curls back onto its self. On the rip the texture is personalisable with the choice of fake grass, aluminium, copper and fur. This makes the design more appropriate to different work spaces. The light is abstract and asks the question of what is in the wall? The light pouring out of the wall and the design not presenting building materials but the complete opposite creates this question.
