About me
Since graduating in 2011 I have had 3 years of experience of working in design teams for several fashion retailers. I believe that the variety of roles which I have had is proof that I am a hard worker, can adapt well to new situations and have the ability to work towards various briefs.
In my current position at UNIQLO I am mainly responsible for the design of digital marketing materials across Europe. This has given me valuable experience of understanding the need to work towards commercial goals but whilst maintaining a strong visual output.
Additionally by working closely with the marketing & Ecommerce teams at UNIQLO I have grown accustomed to producing a high volume of design work to accompany marketing campaigns.
Prior to this I worked as a Creative Artworker at Ben Sherman and during this time I worked across all areas of the brand, working on a wide range of briefs daily. I feel this position and the heavy yet varied workload has given me the necessary ability to organise and prioritise my responsibilities.
Successfully completing an Illustration degree at the University of Brighton further demonstrates that I have varied creative skill, a working knowledge of design software such as Adobe Creative Suit and a broad understanding of digital & print design. Another key skill that I developed from my experiences at University and my previous employment are my outstanding research abilities and also a strong attention to detail.
Moving forward I hope to further my career as a Graphic Designer in a new working environment, one that offers more creative freedom and encourages the need to progress - which is what I believe this position will allow.
