THE BUDGET CAR HIRE APP REQUIRED A FULL REDESIGN

The previous Budget car hire app was developed using outdated practices, was no longer supported and had a poor user experience which was reflected in the app store reviews.

I was the Senior Product Designer on this project working directly with a freelance designer and a team of developers.

I was tasked with designing and delivering a new mobile app that not only looked and performed great but would also be future proof and could be developed with tight time & budget constraints.

I was the Senior Product Designer on this project and was responsible for the project management, UI Design, UX Design and Research, UI QA Testing, and delivery of the project.

I worked closely with a team of developers to not only meet business requirements but also create an excellent human-centered product that users would actually like to use.

Scope
Full UI redesign following branding and design guidelines
Full UX overhaul to increase conversion
UX Research and Testing
Project Management to ensure the app was designed and developed on time and to a high standard
To design and develop the app using Google Flutter and publish to both Apple and Android app stores.
