About me
Upon leaving Eton College in 1998, Will Evans attended Chelsea College of Art and Design. His first play, Night Owls, was produced the following year by the Royal Court Theatre.
Invited to join the Royal Court Young Writers Programme he followed up on the success of Night Owls by writing A Dream Then, produced by The West Yorkshire Playhouse in association with the BBC's Northern Exposure initiative.
After brief stints working as bookmaker, whilst researching a radio play for the BBC, and as a sportswriter for Agence France-Presse, Will joined Gate Television and Film Productions in 2005. Over the last ten years he has been a key creative force in the production of over 30 hours of high quality television drama as a script editor and latterly as a producer.
Will currently divides his time between London and Berlin. He is represented by Julie Press at Kitson Press Associates.
