Whistlejacket London

ABOUT

St George’s Hospital’s new Heart Failure Service is the first of its kind in the UK and Europe. The hospital’s new ward provides specialist treatment for patients suffering from heart failure, an illness becoming increasingly more common in the UK.

We were asked to create a new mark to express the purpose for the unit, one that both represents the service and could be used to help fund-raising initiatives. Moreover, it will be employed to build awareness of the unit and the difference that specialist heart failure care can make in improving quality of life and extending life expectancy.

Whistlejacket London instilled a logo for the unit that features 3 figures in a heart shaped mark, reflecting the triumvirate of hospital, community and patients working together to deliver safer hospital stays, and improved overall outcomes for heart failure patients. We believe this perfectly reflects what the service has gone on to achieve, which is a halved mortality rate amongst-inpatients compared to the national average.
