It only seems fitting to write this in open letter format in a socially distant time. My pattern today is an homage to that imperfect rotten fruit left behind at the grocery store. As designers, most of the time we are aiming to beautify ourselves and the subjects we put into what we make. I challenge all of us to present the whole self, to leave behind the urge to erase and perfect everything that makes us, well, us. The unsymmetrical, spotted, sometimes nasty, but always classy, humans that hide behind social media filters and PR gurus. Isolation has given me an awesome opportunity to forget for a time about marketing, making money, and just focusing on being raw with intentional mistakes and short comings, wobbles and wibbles that don't quit. I love this rotten fruit pattern to the core (I've still got it). Bringing this message of love and hoping you are all well.
Good days ahead,
Whimsy Rabbit Fine Patterns
P.S: Just as an aside I tried to do some different lighting with this one.
