This company wanted to open a new restaurant/lunchroom and they had a major extra. An incredible awesome old Ford Truck straight out of the 70's. They transformed the Truck into a fancy foodtruck and started to drive around with honest, local, home made delicious food. People loved it.

After a while they opened this living room lunch place. It's sort of a restaurant and it has a bar in it. But there's more… The moment you enter you feel like home and you don’t want to leave. All different chairs and a very colourish style. And lots of it is recycled. Good for nature. People loved it.

The moment everything was set they needed a brandname and a brand story. The story just had to do two things. Make a promise and give people a joyful smile.

What Matters came up with BLOND as the brand name. Because everybody in the world knows blond is something special. It’s extraordinary. Blond is pure and honest. Blond is beautiful. Blond stands out of the crowd and blond is seductive.

Blond was perfect. It resembles their pure and local food. The founders are 'different' and they are devoted to make people feel at home with delicious food and hospitality. It’s special.

And for for the truck? Easy one… Blond drives around. In Dutch: Blond rijdt rond. It sounds splendid and says everything.

And so we drove around with those guys in the truck. Attended some food festivals. Helped them to give people a good time, everywhere around. And off course we sat and ate in the ‘living room’ of the restaurant. And we didn’t want te leave. We tasted everything. Drank all the wine. We felt like home.

We did all of this just to get the story straight. Their story, their believes we just found the right words for it.
