ABOUT
Brief: Integrate Yamaha Motor Europe accessories into the core product pages. This was identified as an important element of the brand's dotcom and offline retail strategy.
Insight: By identifying core sets of riders, we knew that we could make their experience more relevant. The accessories pages had to be designed to work with users' particular needs and expectations in mind.
Solution: By creating contextual groups, we allowed Yamaha to strengthen the role of accessorised products on their site and increase the likelihood of purchase within an existing retail network.
By developing a narrative that weaved throughout the site, we created an easy and effective route to purchase, maximising touchpoints and surfacing Yamaha Motor Europe’s non-core products. We focused on the details, ensuring the graphic language, iconography, signposting and messaging delivered clarity via a consistent design experience.
Results:
Simplified user journey for an easy and effective route to purchase
Wishlist functionality allows riders to save their favourite items
Integrated narratives surface products and content relevant to riders' needs
