In July, we took part in the Jaguar Land Rover Developer Challenge 2015.
Five agencies had 48 hours to come up with an app that could enhance the day-to-day drive by taking full advantage of JLR’s InControl TouchPro infotainment system.
Our concept, the JLR ‘Drive the Adventure’ app was, in essence, an in-dash interactive ‘story book of adventures’ created by the family and their journeys. Every trip enhanced family time, from the short school run to longer weekend jaunts, with the car at the centre of the experience.
We found that after a weekend packed full of thinking, pizza and Red Bull, our competitors had become our collaborators. And as JLR themselves confirmed, the weekend was a huge success.
