Openpay is a smart payment fin-tech company, established in Australia. We created a new global brand for its launch into the UK market. As part of a contemporary wave of ‘buy now, pay later’ payment methods, we disrupted the market and differentiated the brand by leveraging the proposition ‘Buy now, pay smarter’. Encouraging both consumers and merchants to spend smarter, we deliver a sense of openness and responsibility when it comes to finance.
With a new logo developed, we worked with the Indian Type Foundry to create Openpay’s bespoke headline typeface. Echoing the characteristics of the wordmark we used Ulm Grotesk as the starting point and brought a little ‘wit’ and ‘open’ charm to Openpay Headline.
