In the UK and Wales alone, 42.930 race hate crimes were recorded by the police in 2014/2015. This meant a 15% increase when compared with 2013/2014.

How we did it
To celebrate the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination on the 21st of March, Kitkat will create a special edition snack, with a different and sweet way to raise awareness for this issue. A snack made of 2 fingers: one black and one white.
All the sales from this snack will revert to UN 'Lets fight racism' program.
We also created a print ad to raise awareness for this issue on March 21.
