For four days in October 2013, We Are Parable, the experiential events company, ran a festival called “Is It The Shoes?”, which looked at how the sneaker has influenced music, film, fashion and art over the last 30 years.

From an art exhibition, a film screening and a panel discussion featuring some of the most prominent figures in the sneaker world, “Is It The Shoes?” redefined the very idea of a sneaker event.
