Earlier this year HMV announced that 2016 will see the largest sales in vinyl since 1997 with over 1.5 million LPs forecast to be sold across stores as well as online.

We were thrilled to partner with HMV once again on another broadcast commercial highlighting the brands deep association with the vinyl format.

For ‘the home of vinyl since 1921’ we created an ad which was built from a combination of live action footage and CGI elements.

The live footage was shot at the Vinyl Factory in London, showing key elements of the pressing & manufacturing process.

Alongside this we created bespoke 3D animations to highlight the formats unique form and beauty and further explain the manufacturing process that is hidden within the machines.
