El Ridiculo is the moniker under which I conduct research as a designer in residence at Edinburgh College of Art. El Ridiculo is Spanish for “the ridiculous”. The logo represents a sizzling piñata, which, once cracked open, lets its heart fall out. Ridiculous, right? El Ridiculo is less of a brand, and more of a visual research identity.
