ABOUT

All rooted in my love and admiration of the sneaker, the iconic style, the comfort it brings and the colourful history it has and also this (black and yellow) being my top 5 favourite of all time, simply because it goes well with any ensemble, whether cooling or on the way of go-gettin it.
My purpose for these two illustrations was to serve as complimentary elements of the sneaker. Well known for its history, I felt a need to ground it with some of my own, sprinkle in some ghetto symbolism. This is not about being constrained but about resilience, the patience it takes to want something and steps it takes in go-getting it.
This is for getting fly, a confidence booster, plain and simple.
